Bike4Health sees an increase in repairs and services due to pandemic
The number of services and repairs at Bike4Health Workshop has increased due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As more and more people dust off their bikes, Bike4Health, a Community Interest Company, dedicated to getting more people on bikes has seen unprecedented numbers of bikes being serviced.
Dave Buchan, Director, said: “As lockdown continues, people are looking for ways to get their daily exercise. Some haven’t been on a bike for a while and are using the pandemic as a chance to get back on the bike.
“We have had one of the busiest months on record for services and repairs. There’s so many benefits to cycling and you get to see the stunning countryside that’s right on our doorstep.
“My hope is that everyone will enjoy getting out on their bikes and continue to cycle as part of their daily lives.”
Richard Wills, Director, added: “It’s been brilliant to see so many families out cycling and it has been great to support those families with our family bike service offer that has been running through April.
“We would like to to thank our existing customers for their continued support and we would like to welcome our new customers to the Bike4Health family”.
“We are also doing our bit to help our Keyworkers by offering a free pick up and delivery service if they need their bikes servicing. Saving them time and money”.
