You knew we were moving right? You know where right? Well now we can tell you when!
So 2 weeks from today we will be moving our operations to our new location! Our last day at Kirkley will be Friday16th October, closing at the usual time of 5pm. We shall be closed for business on Saturday as we have plans, but will reopen for business at our new location on Monday 19th October. It’s going to be a busy but a very exciting weekend!
Well to be honest we are always busy and usually pretty excited. We have been prepping our new home at Unit 5A, North Tyne Industrial Estate, Whitley Road, Benton.
We’ve been cleaning, painting and painting and painting (the units quite large!)…..walls, ceilings, girders and floors and re modelling the space. We are really chuffed to be not only re using materials at the new unit but also removing and reusing everything we put into the barn at Kirkley for use at our new HQ.
Lots of painting – white and black to bring a crisp clean look and banish magnolia and mustard for ever!
And some re-modelling to open up the entrance to create a welcoming and comfortable space for all our visitors.
Of course the floor would need painting. Everything else has! And surprise surprise it needed a good clean before we could paint. Pretty happy with the result though!
So yes we are now in full fit out mode with our focus firmly on the workshop bays for our Mechanics….benches, cupboards, electricity for lights and plugs and even heaters! What’s more the broadband actually works and we have our own WCs and a working kitchen! All mod cons as some might say.
So with a continuing tail wind and your continued support, encouragement and understanding for a small interruption to service the B4H Team will take this next big step and continue to do the good work that we do for more people and be more accessible to people in more places from our new location.
