Previously we introduced our two newest members of staff, Pat and Taylor in this blog. We thought we’d introduce the rest of our workshop team!

Firstly, to our mechanics. Alongside Taylor, we have Artur and Łukasz.

Artur Pajnowski

Artur has been riding bikes all his life but riding Enduro and Downhill for the last six years. He rides a Trek Remedy which has been almost completely customised over the years and a mondraker summum downhill bike. Don’t let his relaxed style fool you; he’s seriously fast.

In the workshop Artur is happy to take on challenges large or small. Currently he’s working towards his Cytech 3.0 qualifications and takes the lead on our MTB suspension servicing services at Bike4Health.

Łukasz Hanysz

Łukasz joined us from Decathlon nearly a year ago and has enjoyed working as part of the team here at Bike4Health while studying for his level 3.0 Cytech qualifications. He brings his dry sense of humour with him to the workshop and our group rides as well as his technical know how!

Regularly commuting to work on the bike from his home in Consett, Łukasz is currently racking up more Km’s than the rest of us. Gravel riding is Łukasz’ main interest and his knowledge of routes around the North East is deep!

Dan Wills

Dan joined Bike4Health last year to work on the front desk of our workshop but now works with Richard in the office on marketing, logistics and all sorts of other exciting paperwork!

His background as a teenager is freestyle BMX, and after having a few years break from riding during university is now back riding Enduro every weekend and occasionally on the road, too.

And next to our directors!

David Buchan

When he was twelve, Dave’s life was transformed by one farsighted teacher and a bike. That bike ride to Rothbury was what Dave calls his “wow moment!” The beginning of the journey of the rest of his life. One which has taken him all across Europe in pursuit of muddy two-wheeled adventures. At one point he was managing 20,000 miles a year. When’s he not biking, he’s building – at first toys and dens, and now Cycle Tracks and Roundhouses.

Richard Wills

As a life long cyclist, from those first days exploring on a Raleigh Grifter to buying his first Scott mountain bike to qualifying as a British Cycling Mountain Bike Coach and Mountain Leader, Richard is undoubtedly keen on all things pedal powered!

After spending many years in business creating and promoting different products and services, Richard now enjoys working at Bike 4 Health to inspire and deliver a vision where cycling is easily accessible and fun, whether getting you too work or away from it and into the hills!
